Some of the samples I’ve used are from tunes most people will recognise because it helps to show how new music can be constructed, live, from recycled audio parts. As this is a rough percussive video demo not a commercial recording I’m assuming no one will have a problem with me using the samples for demonstration purposes. I'm collecting video of the Rhythm Stick being used by other people and bands, some serious, some just fun! If you know of any, please let me know so I can add them.
I've included some video I found on YouTube, ‘This is the picture’ by Peter Gabriel, Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine – ‘Rhythm Is Gonna Get You’, Aswad ‘You’re no good’, Preface (Manu Katche’s band) with ‘Palace Hotel and there’s a demo of Will Carling playing a Dynacord Rhythm Stick from 2009 I believe.
